Our client, a police officer, was shot multiple times by a ‘security officer’ hired by a construction company for their job site. Our client underwent multiple surgeries and fortunately survived. In litigation we discovered that the ‘security officer’ was an illegal immigrant, a drug user, had no security training, and did not speak English. The policy limits secured only represents a portion of the case as it is still in litigation. (2025)
